Foo Fighters - Wasting Light
Some of you may have been aware that the new Foo Fighters album was leaking out onto the internet slowly but surely, track by track. Being found on various blogs and forums people were sharing download links of low quality versions of tracks from the album.
Foo Fighters responded to the threat of their music being stolen from the masses by leaking the album themselves...

Clicking the link takes you to the official Foo Fighters website where your greeted with an app streaming the whole album in full, the only draw back being you can't bloody pause.
The first two tracks, 'Bridge Burning' and 'Rope', I had heard before and didn't care much for. However listening again thanks to this app I actually really enjoyed the two tracks. The same theme followed for the rest, on first listen I think this album is just the same all the way through. But im not giving up people! And neither should you! After a few listens im sure im really gonna like this album.

Beady Eye
Liam Gallagher, once of Oasis, has his own band nowadays. 'Beady Eye' have some material out there now for you to feast your ears on. With Noel being the more talented of the two brothers in my eyes I wasn't too fussed about Liam's effort of a solo career. Nonetheless I still had to listen to see how he'd gotten on.
First off I thought exactly what I thought I was gonna think. Nothing special.
However after time Iv let it to sink in and I can highly recommend Beady Eye to my followers. Stand out track so far for me has to be 'Four Letter Word'.

The Strokes - Angles
The Strokes – Angles
'Machu Picchu'
'Under Cover of Darkness'
'Two Kinds of Happiness'
'You’re So Right'
'Taken For A Fool'
'Games'
'Call Me Back'
'Gratisfaction'
'Metabolism'
'Life Is Simple In The Moonlight'
The first blog post on here that isn’t a British artist and its come at a good time and Im glad it’s a band as good as The Strokes.
Just finished listening to the new album named Angles. The first album from the Strokes as a whole for quite a few years now and they are back with a great album. I was so sure Id be disappointed with this comeback but I’m happy to say I’m not!
I’ve picked out 4 standout tracks for this album, although I don’t feel there is one that I could say won’t grow on me over time. A feeling which is the same for all Strokes Albums.
I’m pretty damn certain ‘Call Me Back’ is going to be one of my favourite tracks of the year.
Standout tracks Metabolism, Machu Piccu, Your So Right, Call Me Back

Elbow/Richard Hawley - The Fix
Taken from the album, Seldom Seen kid, 'The Fix' features ex pulp musician Richard Hawley. A collaboration derived from the north of England sees the two artists meet in a wonderful song that I have only just discovered recently.
The album Seldom Seen Kid also features some songs I haved loved in the past such as 'Grounds For Divorce' and 'One Day Like This'.
Gonna have to go back and listen to this album in full.
